The Revolution with the many different skins it has.

Here are two rare skins I could find. If you happened to get a rare skin or find a picture send it to us by clicking here

It’s still unclear what colors the Revolution will sport once it’s in the shops but our pictures and information tell us that those pictures on the top is really going to be for sale. On the E3 show last May, Nintendo showed six possible colors, but the black one was the prototype that was used for every high-rest picture released. At the Tokyo Game Show, it’s Apple-like white. The entire design of the controller is reminiscent of the IPO series, which is in no way a bad thing. It’s sleek, and one might argue that it’s the sleekest machine out there. Old games you ask? Well, As you might know, the Revolution will have Wi-Fi Internet access out of the box, and one of the big features Nintendo has in store for gamers is the ability to download hundreds of old Nintendo games. Games from the NES, SNES and Nintendo64 era will now be downloaded on your Revolution Flash hard drive and you can play them any time you’d like. Even 3rd party offerings. While Nintendo hasn’t talked about download costs, you can expect them to ask a small fee, but we’re sure that there will be free downloads too. The Internet access and online gaming itself, by the way, is free of charge. Imagine surfing the Internet. You’d just point the controller to the place you want to click on. Sounds easy. The entire controller sounds like a bettered PC mouse, now that we think of it. Anyway, most gamers where in shock when they saw the new controller. How can I play the old games with that? Well, next to the options we’ve told you a few sentences back, you could also flip the ‘remote controller’ on its side. Now you have an almost identical match to the NES-controller. Wow! Or you could use the Game Cube controllers, since they can be plugged in the Revolution. Or you wait till Nintendo announce special add-ons that resemble the old controllers, which they already said they would make. Problem solved. What games will be on the new system? Good question. They are being made, that’s for sure. On this year’s E3, Nintendo told journalists that a number of franchises are being made for the Revolution. Expect Mario, Pikmin, Smash Bros., Animal Crossing, Metroid and Zelda to make a fairly early return, but we’re sure Nintendo will also bring loads of unique games to the table to complement this new control style, although named games will probably be highly original too. More importantly, developers are really warming up for the Revolution, so 3rd party support could become an important key factor for the success of the Revolution. Peter Molineux, of Fable and Black & White fame, already told the press to ‘not underestimate Nintendo’. Konami’s Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear (Solid) and Boktai franchise, told the press that this was what he was waiting for. All in all, numerous developers, even powerhouse Electronic Arts, will offer games for the machine and if the Revolution really is as low-cost and developer friendly as rumors are saying, it could mean Nintendo would even get the most third party support next gen.
But, no games have been shown in the speech at the Tokyo Game Show. It’s a shame, because we all want to see how they look, considering specs aren’t released either. And why is Nintendo keeping it for them? Could be a number of reasons, but we suspect they just want to blow everything and everyone out of the water at next year’s E3 show, held in May. For now, it’s a waiting game.
